The fabric comes from an old stock, it is a wool and viscose gabardine, hard to find! It is heavier than normal and the viscose gives it a floating appearance. Ideal for winter.

The skirt is made up of 4 sheets cut on a fake bias, typical of the 40s.
2 lockable pockets, not very functional but very decorative with the loop and vintage button.
